How to choose the perfect size for your jewelry?

To choose the size of a new piercing, you can remove and measure a piece of jewelry you already own or take the measurement by wearing it directly. Let's see how to do it together.

Jewelry with straight bar

From where to where to measure?
Place the jewelry on a flat surface.
Using a ruler, measure the section from the flat base to the opposite end, excluding any threading or decorative inserts.
For snap-fit models (without screwing), remove the decorative end and measure only the central bar, as indicated.

How to measure the worn jewelry?
You can also measure the jewelry directly while wearing it by following some simple steps, remembering to keep the ruler aligned with the bar.

• Step 1: Gently push the jewelry so that the bar protrudes as much as possible from the back.

• Step 2: Using a ruler, measure from the skin (at the point where the bar exits) to the end of the bar, without including the flat or decorative base.

You can use this method on all ear piercings, both upper and lower parts.

The same rule described for straight bars applies.
Measure the section that goes from one end to the other, excluding any threading.

This method also applies to eyebrow or navel piercings: even if the shape is curved, you need to measure the useful inner segment, that is from end to end (e.g., from ball to ball).
